thanks to Angelo Cordon's breakdown of his technique, i've decided to color up some old concept drawings. I'm about an hour into the values at this point. Had trouble fixing the neck and chin until I took a picture of myself for refrence. here are increments each hour.

Cool start man. Remember to use huge brushes and work to smaller ones. This allows you to fill in space a lot faster. Then when you are set with the values, a quick technique to add colors is to have a new layer on top of your b&w set to multiply or overlay and add colors on top. Hope that helps.
