Screen printing

I got a job doing some simple screen prints. I did some pen and ink stuff, too. It's for a restaurant that Tyler Florence is opening in Mill Valley. I used to watch his show when I had cable and was addicted to the food network.

I went to the library and picked up some books on buildings. Here is a concentric castle mixed with southwestern architecture in the works. I'll finish it pretty soon.

I re-arranged illustration pages on my website

I got a critique of my website and it was suggested that I add a bio and streamline my pages a bit. I got bashed on for my font, but fuck that, the font stays. I have no idea how to gt rid of the ugly purple on the text. It really sucks, so any help would be appreciated. There are a few new pieces including graphic design stuff (well, illustrated fonts) and I added alink to my squid shoter animation

Abuse your Illusion II

Thanks for all of you who came to view my drawings. I had the best turnout yet AND I got to play some metal. People kept turning the shit up! The bottle of Nightrain got drunk and I sold a decent amount of work. It was great to see new faces checking out my artwork. None of this would have happened if it weren't for more real friends, whom have supported me all along. As far as Steve and the crew at Public Barber Salon, they got a genuine, legit operation running, there. So if you are not interested in stopping by to look at my art, at least stop in to get a haircut. They give out free beer!

so I was looking for frames in thrift stores today. I really like thrift stores. I also scored some national geographics magazines from the 50's. i have a subscription to national geographic. i also had a burrito today. I put habernero salsa on it.

what to do?

Initially , I wanted the towers to float by propellers, but I changed my mind. i don't want to draw blurry propellers. Now the are more like rocket turbines. maybe add some blue hover light to the bottoms of the turbines and call it a wrap? they look like people right now. ymca /boys and girls club thing going on... it's not good.

did this last week, after it occured to me that my website has no feminine presence. I wanted to draw a respectable lady who is not oversexualized, yet not asexual either. I had fun with pushing the de-saturation to it's limit and only hitting pockets of color. I used some custom brushes which was really fun. i think i'll do another one like this in a month or 2. Why is this all underlined?
