Initially , I wanted the towers to float by propellers, but I changed my mind. i don't want to draw blurry propellers. Now the are more like rocket turbines. maybe add some blue hover light to the bottoms of the turbines and call it a wrap? they look like people right now. ymca /boys and girls club thing going on... it's not good.

The central shapes of the tower bottoms are similar to prop centers as seen from the side. Perhaps rendering the bases as large propeller blades at near edge-on angles with afterburner plasma blooms around them would be a inventive possibility.
The YMCA arms need more detail to define their purpose, maybe some asymmetry or adding smaller stabilizing rotors/turbines would add to the visual complexity and make the bottom feel well balanced when compared to the tops of the towers.
I would also give some consideration to the indirect light being filtered through the atmosphere and being reflected back up off off the planets surface as blue light (a result of Oxygen atmospheres)where the towers are curving or facing downward.
Daunting, this art... inspiring!
